Guide to Unlock iPhone 3GS running iPhone OS 3.0 using Purplesn0w

George Hotz (aka Geohot) had released a software called purplera1n. Once you have jailbreak your iphohe 3GS running iphone OS 3.0. You can then unlock it.

Before unlocking your 3GS running iPhone OS 3.0 please read the important note.

* This guide is only for iPhone 3GS (don’t not do this for your iphone 3G or 2G)
* Make sure you backup all your data before you start.

Here is the step-by-step guide to unlocking your iPhone 3GS using purplesn0w:

Step 1:

You have to jailbreak the iphone
- download http://purplera1n.com/
- run the program and you “make it ra1n”

Step 2:

* After you have jailbroken your phone get on a Wi-Fi network (or any type of internet access with phone)

* Note* If you are on a T-mobile network or any carrier without 3G support then, please disable the 3G service before proceeding.
Tap Settings icon > Go to General > Go to Network > Turn OFF the Enable 3G option.

* Once you have internet access run “freeze”
